Objectives
Objective of Pension Schemes and Family Benefit Scheme under NSAP is to provide social assistance to poor people. On and from 01.04.2020 , the rate of all categories of pensions viz. Old Age Pension, Widow Pension and Disability Pension have been raised to @@ Rs.1000/- per month per beneficiary. All categories of pensions are being credited to bank accounts of concerned beneficiaries directly through electronic mode of transactions .The scale of benefit and eligibility for various schemes of NSAP when first started were as follows:
IGNOAPS
Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme for Poor one below the poverty line of Old Age Beneficiaries whose age group between 60 to 79 name as IGNOAPS_60 : Pension Amount 1000 (Central share 200 : State Share : 800) and Age greater than 79 named as IGNOAPS_80 : Pension Amount 1000 (Central share 500 : State Share : 500)

Indiara Gandhi Widow Pension Scheme for Poor one below the poverty line of Widow Beneficiaries age group between 40 to 79. Pension Amount 1000 (Central share 300 : State Share : 700)
IGNDPS
Indira Gandhi Disability Pension Scheme for Poor one below the poverty line of Disable Beneficiary age group between 18 to 79. Pension Amount 1000 (Central share 300 : State Share : 700)
NFBS
National Family Benefit Scheme. One time family benefit claiming central assistance was that the death of such primary bredwinnershould have while he or she is in age group of 18 to 59 yrs (Central share 20000 : State Share : 20000)
